New Charity Program Takes Off at Flyte
An Abbotsford business has introduced a unique program to
raise money for charity. Flyte Enterprises, which sells janitorial
cleaning and maintenance supplies, is donating 10 per cent
of first-year sales when a business opens a new account. The
money goes to the charity or nonprofit organization of the
businesss choice.
The idea was initiated from the Love
Abbotsford program which involves acts of kindness
being performed throughout the community.
Flyte owner Dennis Shepit said his philosophy is to: Make
all the money I can, save all I can and give away all I can.
The business is a financial supporter of Love Abbotsford
and several other organizations.
Dave Locke, who works in the companys shipping and
receiving department, said the new program is indicative of
Flytes community spirit.
Over the number of years I have worked here at Flyte,
I have seen Dennis genuine concern for our customers.
He is willing to take time to give them helpful advice and
to see that their job is made easier. I can see that this
is a reflection of his character in wanting to give 10 per
cent to charity.
